Unlike most Olympic sponsors, whose tie to the games and the athletes was tenuous at best, P&G wanted to find a true connection to the athletes it sponsored. It turns out that most P&G products are things moms use everyday, while raising kids. The Proud Sponsor of Moms gave P&G a connection to the athletes that was truly tied to their products.

Then we had over twenty designers working around the clock, designing posters that featured these Words of Wisdom and posting them in real time on P&G’s “Thank You, Mom” Pinterest page, like a modern, digital version of the needlepoint sayings that so many of our mother’s mothers had on their own walls.
